In August 2017, the National Fraternal Order of Police will conduct its 63rd National Conference and Exposition at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN. Hosted by Andrew Jackson Lodge #5 in Nashville, this event represents one hundred and two years of professional law enforcement experience for the largest and oldest law enforcement labor organization in the United States.
Any current active member of DC Lodge #1 in good standing is eligible to be a delegate to the conference. Delegates are appointed by the President and must be approved in advance. The National Fraternal Order of Police holds a National Conference every two years to set the goals and agenda for the organization. The business of the order is conducted, seminars are offered, Constitution & By-Laws are reviewed and changed, the Executive Board is elected, National Trustees and Committee Chairs report their activities, and exhibitors from around the country showcase their products and services at our EXPO. Law enforcement officials from all over the country are expected to attend, including: police chiefs, administrators, sheriffs, training officers, fleet managers, federal officers, correction officers, and procurement staff.
